Designed for high-end multimedia

applications, the HD View

™

is a truly modular

distribution system for extending VGA video

and audio signals over CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6,

or proposed CAT7 cable.

The HD View system includes transmitters,

receivers, and line splitters for delivering single or

multiple channels of high-def video and stereo

audio to remote plasma/LCD screens, which

makes them great for distributing media in

digital signage setups.

Mix and match units to send video at

varying distances to one or more areas of your

application. Standard receivers support 360-foot

(109.7-m) distances; long-range receivers support

1000-foot (304.8 m) distribution.

Out-of-band management frees the network

of video transfer, and because it supports RS-232

transmit/receive signaling, you can turn a screen

on or off to save energy. No more walking from

screen to screen to power down your displays.

The HD View system also includes a utility that

provides you with a full view of your AV topology.

Use it to name your devices and ports, assign

screens to groups, and adjust RGB skew.

Plus, the HD View system supports DDC,

which gives you optimal player-to-screen

configuration and can be read from a remote

port. Using DDC, you can set your digital signage

player resolution and refresh rate to the native

resolution supported by the connected screen. HD

View gets this information from a display, stores it

on the transmitter, and emulates it to the player.

If you have NEC screens with expansion slots

and want to reduce cabling, order our Integrated

NEC HD View Receivers. These modular receivers

offer all the features of our standalone models

plus a VGA port to connect to a second display.

NOTE: The maximum distance for remote end

video is 1000 feet (308.4 m), although not a

maximum resolution. For full specifications,
