For installations involving clusters of terminals distributed in several

locations, Local Fiber Mux-6 units may be installed in a ring-type

configuration (refer to Figure 2-2). At each site the unconnected channels

must be bypassed by shorting Pins 2 and 3 of the relevant sub-channel

connector.
