Use the List function key (<F4>) to list the possible method of communications that will be

used with the serial I/O device. Use the Up Arrow or Down Arrow keys to highlight the value

wanted, then press the Accept function key (<F8>) to enter the value in the field.

The initial default value is HALF

The possible values are:

HALF

FULL

HALF-NO-DCD

for SHIMs use:

FULL for RS-232 to SHIM

HALF for RS-485 to SHIM

NETWORK

Enter the requirement for a network definition.

The initial default value is 0 (no).

The possible values are:

0 (no) <- used for SHIMs

1 (yes)
